Polyvel introduces new antifog masterbatch

US masterbatch manufacturer Polyvel Inc. has introduced VF152 Antifog concentrate for LDPE film applications. The company says that VF152 is a second-generation antifog masterbatch product for use in blown LDPE film packaging of refrigerated fresh food. This new product works more quickly than previous versions in coextruded or monolayer film. In addition, it reduces condensation more efficiently, resulting in a clearer, more transparent film.

Polyvel adds that VF152 is 20% active and typically requires only 3-4% letdown, making it an extremely cost-effective choice.
