Songwon International opens European headquarters

Songwon International AG, a subsidiary of Songwon Industrial Co Ltd, has opened its new European headquarters and customer service centre in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.

“This is the culmination of the efforts last year to establish Songwon International as our direct channel to market in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Western Asia, and the Americas,” commented Jongho Park, Chairman and chief executive officer of Songwon Industrial Co Ltd.

The European opening is part of a four-part plan announced in September 2006 by Songwon Industrial Co Ltd, whose products include antioxidants, heat stabilizers, plasticizers, surface coating agents and polyurethane. The plan includes: investment in a second antioxidant facility; the establishment of a direct channel to market; the extension and expansion of the product range, and an emphasis on innovation.
