VELOX adds bioplastics

European distributor of raw and speciality materials VELOX is expanding its product portfolio and adding a full range of bioplastics to its range. This includes injection, film and extrusion grades of PLA for transparent applications, as well as a bio-based, biodegradable impact modifier for PLA, giving PLA good mechanical properties while maintaining transparency. In addition, the range will include a starch-based and biodegradable (EN 13432-tested) thermoplastic for film, sheet and injection applications, including water-soluble products for film applications. Finally, there is a specific range of colour masterbatches designed for these products.
