Transmare expands distribution agreement

Netherlands company Transmare Compounding BV has named Distrupol as its sole distributor of Transmare® polypropylene compounds in the UK, Spain and Portugal. The agreement is an extension of the pre-existing relationship Distrupol has with the Dutch compounder. Transmare products have been distributed to customers through other Distrupol subsidiaries since 2004.

The Transmare product range comprises all types of polypropylene. These include virgin, regenerated and industrial quality grades, unfilled, impact modified, mineral filled up to 75%, glass fibre reinforced up to 60% and long glass fibre reinforced up to 60%, as well as biodegradable and bamboo fibre reinforced grades. Distrupol says that they cover a complete spectrum of customer requirements, from excellent mechanical and electrical performance to high impact and wear resistance. The property profiles both of Transmare’s standard and tailor-made products suit them for applications in a wide cross-section of industries, including automotive, building and construction, electrical and domestic appliances.
