New masterbatches introduced for biopolymers

Italian masterbatcher manufacturer Frilvam SpA has introduced a new line of masterbatches for biopolymers. Named Bio, the bio-degradable polymers are based on starch and have applications in industrial, food and agricultural packaging. The company adds that the masterbatches are suitable for use in injection moulding, as well as for films and sheet extrusion. According to Frilvam, the range includes standard white and black formulations and adds that it can match any colours required. Additive masterbatches can also be prepared to meet customers’ specifications.
