Clariant International Ltd and Zhejiang Baihe Chemical Holding Group are expanding the Hangzhou Baihe Clariant Pigments Co. Ltd. joint venture by investing in a plant for the production of Quinacridone speciality organic pigments. The new plant will be built at the existing joint venture facility located in Hang Zhou City, Zhejiang Province in China.

According to the company, the expansion is designed to strengthen its market leading position in high performance organic pigments. The plant will serve both Chinese and global customers.
