Sequencing controller for central vacuum loading system

A new sequencing control panel has been launched by Process Control for use with central vacuum loading systems. The Director Series Plus gives processors the ability to monitor and control all aspects of a loading system from a single point on a 25 cm (10 inch) colour touch screen user interface.

The equipment can be programmed to control multiple vacuum pumps, in-line dust connectors, continuous run valves and up to 48 vacuum pellet or powder receivers. It features the Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1500 PLC to control the whole loading process and the standard configurations can be specified to load as many as 48 stations using one or more vacuum pumps.

Enhancements to the controller can be made by adding I/O cards and software upgrades. It also has remote communication capabilities.
