VELOX signs distribution agreement with Supresta

19 October 2006

VELOX GmbH is to distribute Supresta’s flame retardant plasticizers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. This is in addition to its existing distribution agreement to supply the Italian market.

The companies hope that the distribution agreement will increase the market share of Phosflex® and Fyrolflex® products in the countries covered by it. The Phosflex® range consists of flame retardant plasticizers, generally used for flexible PVC. Fyrolflex® products are flame retardant engineering resins. They are used in electronics and high-end structural plastics.

Supresta has produced organo phosphorus flame retardants since 1994. VELOX distributes speciality raw materials for the plastics, rubber, paint and inks industries.
