Chemtura announces price rises
Chemtura Corporation is increasing non-formula based prices for metallic stearates by US$0.05 – $0.15 per pound, depending on grade. The rise comes into effect on 1 June 2007.
The company is also raising the prices of its hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) based flame retardants by 10% from 15 June 2007. This includes Great Lakes CD-75P™, CD-75PM™, CD-75PC™, CD-75PXF™, SP-75™ and SP-75C™.
