Century Extrusion acquires Chinese company

CPM Acquisition Corporation (CPM) has acquired Nanjing Ruiya Polymer Processing Equipment Co., LTD. of Nanjing, China. Following the completion of the acquisition, the CPM Ruiya Extrusion division will be aligned with CPM Century Extrusion. The company says that the addition of Ruiya advances CPM’s aim to offer its customers engineered, manufactured and supported extrusion technologies, for low cost compounding requirements.

Century Extrusion says that the combination of the two companies will form a powerful manufacturing and service network with a strong team of application specialists that will compete on a long-term, global scale to serve its customers. With the addition of Ruiya, CPM’s worldwide primary process equipment team will be over 950.

The acquisition will significantly expand CPM’s portfolio of primary processing equipment for markets served by compounding extrusion technologies and extends the existing CPM global solution network in Asia. CPM will continue manufacturing at all existing locations and will continue the production of all existing product lines.
