Holland Colours expands Hungarian operation
Holland Colours has doubled production capacity at its facility in Szolnok in Hungary. The plant will produce Holcobatch, Holcoprill and Holcosil HTV – three of the leading colouring systems that Holland Colours supplies to the plastics industry. In addition to production machinery, extra equipment has also been installed at Szolnok to enhance its quality control laboratory.
Holland Colours established its operations in Hungary in 1992 with the purchase of a pigment factory, which has now developed into a complete Holland Colours operation and 88 employees. In 2007, Holland Colours phased out pigment production as it focuses on meeting growing demands for its colouring systems, with a particular emphasis on PET packaging, the Building and Construction industries, and Silicones/Elastomers.
